Our Mission: Dementia Dynamics is dedicated to improving the lives of those with dementia and their caregivers through education and technology.
In the coming years, an estimated 10 million baby boomers will have Alzheimer’s disease. That doesn’t count dementia caused by other disease processes — vascular, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, alcohol-related, stroke, etc. More and more of our country’s healthcare dollars will be spent caring for this patient population. However, in our personal experience, very few professional care givers, regardless of their level of formal education, receive the in-depth training necessary to succeed in this endeavor.
Dementia Dynamics provides that training.
The Broken Jar book
The Broken Jar is a book of Lester Potts’ art and Daniel Potts’ poetry. Lester became a watercolor artist after his diagnosis with Alzheimer’s disease and his art has been exhibited internationally. All proceeds benefit Caring Days Adult Daycare Center for people with memory disorders, which is where Lester learned to paint.
