Common Behavioral Issues in Dementia Patients

Dementia caregivers face all kinds of behavioral issues every day with loved ones who were formerly rational, capable, sensible human beings.  There is no way we can cover every situation a caregiver may face, but over the next few weeks, we will try to cover the most common ones.   The ones we plan to cover are as follows:  “They’re stealing from me,” “I want to go home,” wandering, inappropriate public behavior, eating issues, hallucinations, fears, violence, dressing issues and bathroom issues.  If there are other behavioral problems you’d like us to cover, please let us know!
